Hey everyone.

I was just looking at Scoot.Net's rally calendar and check out what I found.  "Aero-Scoot 2010", hosted by the "Flying Ghost Men SC, is from San Carlos to Half Moon Bay and back.  I've been to "Scoot to the Moon" three times in the past and that rally went from Los Gatos to Half Moon Bay and back.  Callum McGowan. who helped organize "Scoot to the Moon" told me last year that 2009 was the last year for "Scoot to the Moon" and that in 2010 there would be something different, and I believe that this must be it.

If it's anything like "Scoot to the Moon" you will absolutely love it.  It is one of the most pleasurable and picturesque rallies I've ever been to, and Cameron's Pub in Half Moon Bay (if we end up going there) serves this laced pear iced tea drink thing that is completely awesome, and I don't even drink hardly that much it's so good. Get's you buzz on just right so you can totally relax and still drive home later.

Anyways, it's saturday July 31, the saturday after "Il Scorciante" and I am totally going.  If any Bastards are going as well maybe we can hook up somewhere along the way.  I'll be coming from Modesto so I'll most likely be coming across the San Mateo Bridge.  Let me know.

I concur.  Did scoot to the moon a couple years ago and it was fun.

Hey Y'All,

Blushing got the day off work so she'll be going too.  However, we might not be taking the freeway there after all, And, we may be coming from Stockton (not Modesto as I wrote previously) and having a meet up in Tracy, CA for some friends from around the area who might want to go.  We might be taking the back way from Tracy, to Livermore, to Sunol, to Fremont, and then over the Dunbarton bridge (I know it's spelled Dumbarton, but that just sounds a little dumb to me, I mean, who the hell is named Dumbarton? Seems like they would have done something about that while they were still younger, or before they had a freaking bridge named after them, or whatever), then up 101 to San Carlos.

Anyways, here's a link with all the info regarding the rally.

Looks like I'll be helping Wiley help Blond put his scooter together that day instead.  Undecided This should be interesting to say the least.

Boisterous, sorry you can't make it, but would love to see pics of the scoot when you get done.

Blond is posting updated pics as he goes on his face book page and I'm possative they'll pop up here. It'll be the scoot he plans to ride at the rally.  Huh? Yep, nothing like cutting it close. But thats how he rolls.  Wink

Hey Commie,  You guys will love the route from Livermore to Fremont through Niles Canyon; it is gorgeous  Grin....much better than going freeway; that's the route I always take when I head over your way from San Carlos.

See you at Aero-Scoot  Cool
